An unemployed with no fixed residence of 33 years, suspected of having killed two French students at the end of last month in London, was formally accused by the court of murder and arrested.

Following a brief hearing that lasted several minutes, the judge decided to hold while Nigel Farmer hopes a new hearing that was scheduled for next October in the 16th criminal court of Old Bailey in London.

Nigel Edward Farmer spoke only to confirm the identity, date of birth and lack of fixed residence.

The judge formally accused Farmer for the murder of French students Laurent Bonomo and Gabriel Ferez and by arson and attempted obstruction of justice.
